General Arrangement Drawings Available for Load Break Switch Mid Pole Actuator

Australian switchgear engineering firm NOJA Power have released updated general arrangement drawings for the NOJA Power VISI-SWITCH® with a mid pole actuator.

The mid pole actuator design allows users to operate the NOJA Power VISI-SWITCH® without needing to reach a hookstick between the overhead lines.

By bringing the actuation point down to the middle of the pole, engineers meet a balance between two key factors. Firstly, operational safety for users, and secondly maintaining a degree of separation between switchgear and the public.

“The NOJA Power VISI-SWITCH® is the perfect alternative to SF6 gas switches and helps our customers meet their mandate and improve their environmental footprint,” says NOJA Power Group Managing Director Neil O'Sullivan.

The mid pole accessory system can be cut to size on site. This allows utilities to stock a single mid pole actuator type across their network, irrespective of design variation in power pole dimensions.
